About Ryan & Karina
From the depths of loss to the heights of redemption, our individual stories are separately told through the first two episodes of the podcast. The following seven episodes tell the story of how we met and the unlikely circumstances of how we ended up married, as well as the ups and downs of the past 12 years. Spearheaded by the different ways God showed up when we least expected it, our story is one of hope and resilience that we pray will leave you encouraged to live life upside down.
Ryan Martinez
Born and raised in Grand Island, Nebraska, I have a heart for the heartland. Since surrendering my life to Christ in 2012, I have shared my story with hopes that I can help others find the peace I have found in Christ. I currently serve as the Bellevue Campus Life Director with Youth For Christ in Omaha. Along with over 10 years of experience performing and speaking through my music ministry, I also have experience as an on air radio host on a Nebraska wide radio station.
Karina Martinez
Although my family originated in Chihuahua, Mexico, I was born and raised in Grand Island, NE. Aside from chasing my own personal goals and passions, my greatest joy comes from pursuing Christ and investing my time and energy into my family. While much of my time is spent building our families legacy as a stay at home mom, I also enjoy mentoring and fellowship outside of our home.
